****NSW/ACT Dyno Day at Sam's-16/7/06****

Here we go again guys, Sam has given me the go a head and a date for the next Dyno Day day.

-The date that it will take place is the 16th of July

-At Sam's Performance (Unit 12 / 78 Gibson Avenue, Padstow),doors open at around 9am.

-We will be running a max of 40 cars this time around so we can ad a little spice to the day instead of your normal dyno day.

-After lunch Sam will be giving a talk on LS1 Edit and Dyno tunning in general which will sure be something to look forward to for those that have always wanted to know how it all works.
We will also have a Q&A for all those who have any questions for Sam regarding the topic or anything else.
After that Sam will show everyone how the engine dyno works with a demo or two, and with any luck he might just have one of his big motors on it to show us which should be awesome.
Once again if anyone has any questions they can ask and Sam will do his best to answer.

-Cost will be $50 per car and includes 2 power runs, a BBQ Sausage on a bread roll and a Drink

-For people that just want to come watch you are more then welcome also

Any questions feel free to ask, if not put your name down asap as spots will fill fast!

Im still a tad dubious on whether to run mineral oil, or dump it and put in Royal purple, after it has now done 3,000k's. Damn i worry too much .. i just dont want to see it torn down again.

Nots sure what the cats are like on the Cross8, but when our exhaust was done, the dudes called and said that the HSV cats were better than what they would be selling me. So of course I did not do it and left them std. I have the same Extractors as what your getting. If you get a dyno done before and after, would you mind PM'ing me the figures (don't want to gve away too many secrets before dyno day). Only because I never had before and after with the exhaust.

I guess my "before" will be the 215kw from Sam's dyno when I got it tuned. I haven't changed anything except the wheels since then.

We got rain but all up we had around 34 cars still so it still was a good turn out.

My day started off shit house even before I got to Sam's and my car never made it to the dyno.:(

Ah well, shit happens I guess.

As has been mentioned , thanx for organising a great day Chris , all the guys from Sam's and of course Tim and the other guy (sorry i can't remember your name ) from Mainline Dynos . It was a pity about yuor car chris , if you had said something we could have kept darren busy so you could have raided his setup ... It was good to catch up with old friends and to make new ..
I was very happy with my results , the old girl still has it in her the results from my 3 runs were 391rwhp , 392rwhp & 391rwhp . Sheet will be posted later when i get around to scanning them...Hopfully the full results will be posted soon
