What is the Holden assist thingo with all of the buttons? (sorry to ask a stupid question but I have never seen it before!)

The Holden Assist is the Satellite Tracking Alarm and Roadside Assistance System.

It hooked up to an internal phone system in the car and they can control the door locks and engine management. So if they detect an unauthorised entry into the car they first call the car and ask for verification. If it isn't answered or answered incorrectly they call my mobile to check if permission was granted. Finally they contact the Police and track the car and when the police are ready the intercept they shut down the engine and lock them inside. you can also call the operartor an get directions or request roadside assistance.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a serious accident that sets off the airbags they call you to check if you are OK and despatch an ambulance is necessary. It's a great system -and better still came FREE with the car!!!!.

Sadly I'm selling the car due to the lease finishing soon and the arrival of our second child, time for a family truckster.....sob sob.

They are a fantastic car aren't they! I was considering putting the twin nostril bonnet on mine but wasn't sure what it would look like. Now you've made up my mind - looks great!! I also had the same idea to put the binnacles in the dash, haven't done it yet but soon. Don't know why they didn't bring them out standard like that, looks so good.

What mods have you done, i noticed the pacemakers, but what else. any power figures or timeslips yet?

Whoever buys it off you will be one lucky person. 1 in 350 is correct - I'll never sell mine!!!!! Will be worth a fortune in the future!
