Hi All,

Anyway illuminated radio controls on a vy series 1, can it be done and if it can what is needed.

I have been going to do this myself, but haven't had enough time. I can't see a reason why the VY2 SS ones wouldn't light up, as both VY1 and VY2 use the same 92147955 6 wire clockspring, which is what they hook up to (and the airbag).

Must be possible. Wouldn't mind doing it myself.

Thanks for the info guys... i'm off to holden tomorrow to pick up some touch up paint so i'll interigate the parts man for info... i will post the info that i find out tomorrow. :)

anyway sorry about the late reply had to go to airlie beach for a bucks party... just got back... man what a weekend... :beer:


anyway went into holden and asked about the illuminated radio buttons... answer is... they don't know what models had the illuminated radio buttons and which didn't. I also was told that they can order the radio buttons but they could not tell me if they would be illuminated or not... so i'm now thinking that i just give up... :mad:

VY Series 2 SS had black ones that illuminate. Microcat doesn't list what are illuminated or not.
