Was that one of the best races ever or what? A cracker I thought. As Daryl and Woods said on the Ch10 telecast, why would they want to change the formula now that the 990cc are delivering racing like this?

True enough, there's been a couple of great races this year, I'll be sad to see the 990's go.

Yep definately one of the best races I have seen in this class for a long time, hopefully the rest of the season follows the same theme

I only have the free to air footage to go off, which wasn't a real good angle, but to me it looked like he did not high side. The footage shown on news and during race shows STONER sliding along the ground a long way from the bike when it did its acrobatics. I'd say he layed it down and the bit which made it look like a high side was when the bike hit the curb and flipped up. Still lucky to walk away though.

On foxtel it showed Stoner goin through the air at about the same altitude as his bike, it was f'n huge

From what i saw it must have been a high-side because Stoner was launched what seemed like about 3 metres in the air - at least as high as the bike. I was amazed when he walked away...
