Hi Guys,
the SS is almost due for its 40k service and I aint goin' back to Holden. Now I know WA performance/Service centre are good, but I was hoping for someone south of the river. Chipmaster have done all my performance stuff :bravo: but its my understanding they're not in the service market as yet.:( If anyone can recommend a good workshop south of the river that treats LS1's well it would be appreciated.
Cheers guys
Marko

when you say servicing, are you talking about just an oil/filter change?

If so, Are you not game enough to do it yourself or you worried about the warranty side of things?

seeing as you have a vx, do you even have warranty left over?

Mark,

I used to go to Automasters, mainly cos that where I had previous cars serviced and they were pretty good to me.

Sorta changed my mind when I picked my car up and the guy says geez thats a bloody big donk, havent seen one like that before. Joking or not it didnt fill me with the greatest amount of confidence.

I think next time I might make the trip to WA Performance since they really do know ls1's. I work down the street from them so it makes it a lil easier.

All depends how far out of the way it is but I reckon it will be worth a bit of a drive just for their knowledge and experience.

No you're right mate, there is no warranty left (in fact mods started before the warranty ended coz I didn't really care about it that much). I do my own oil/filter changes every 5000km's myself no problem. I'm just talking about log book servicing, I think it's good to have someone with some knowledge look it all over every so often.
