New Maf Pipe??

hey guys, have you found much diference with changing the stock maf pipe to the HSV one or even a aftermarket pipe?? I know the aftermarket ones let alot more air in due to the same Dia all the way thru...

Im dbating on doing it but wanted to see if it is worth it?? im also running a K&N filter with HSV extractors and full exhaust system.

As a lone mod, probably not but in conjunction with a MAFLESS tune, then for sure.

When I had my VXII SS I noticed better response with the HSV GTS or 285kw pipe.

Tend to disagree here..:) as a one off exercise I took the family VX Calais to Willowbank one evening last year to see if it was at all possible to put a factory stock untuned heavyweight into the 13's......Only mods were swiping the GTS pipe and MCAI from the SV8, along with some BP 98 and removal of air filter......results were positive and surprised a number of onlookers, including myself ...13.765 @ 103.07mph..with even the trusty Haymen Reece enjoying the ride..:burnout:
