Speak to the boys @ Castle Hill Exhaust or Sureflow and see what they recommend. De Filipo seem to be very popular at the moment, also try Pacemakers, Genie, HM Headers, etc.

The lists goes on, best speak to the zorst shop and see what they recommend.

if you are after shorties, as far as i know, they are only made by sureflow, csv genie and HM ...

with these headers you replace the stock headers, then get the pipes between the headers and cats, then between the cats and catback flange replaced with a 2.5" pipe to suite the rest of your system

these shorties do not require extentions of the O2 sensors they just bolt on and replace the originals.

sounds like what im after... want to keep cats stock and in same position, i think the vz monaro has 2.5" pipes running from cat to the cat back flange is that right? so i wouldent need to change that aspect?

im not quite sure what the stock system is like, but yeh if it is already 2.5" with no factory bashes in the pipes then you wouldnt need to change that.
the whole advantage of the shorties is retaining stock cat position which is handy when it comes time to lower your car, dont need to worry bout it being illegal height (generally).
