Don't think you can abuse the life out of it though, because ANY brand of clutch has a limit, be it the diaphragm strength or the lining material. A clutch "butcher" will still be a butcher with a Tex, just it might put up with it a little longer......

im suggesting, that saying a tex will only last a "little longer" is misleading. these things can cop a lot of shit, for a long time, nothing else out there comes close. friends i have, have in the pastchewed through exedys, etc like they were a couple of cardboard wheels, try as they might they cant destroy a tex. the only complaint people have of them anywhere is that they squeal when the dust builds up, and this is releived by giving it a hard time!
talking down the merits of a tex in the forum of a major distributor of them is a little counterproductive, only becuase they are actually all the hype suggests. theyll wear out eventually i guess, but shit youd have to be trying. you will find cv joints will go before this clutch, again and again.

Nathan and Big Shaun has run 10 zero on the same clutch that people say is nice enough for their wife.i also have a customer that has a gen t turbo setup who abuses his 0z700 to death his blown everything in the drive line twice and the tex is still going strong nearing 40000km's now,the word "abuse" means nothing to this guy.....ohhh and yanks run 9's on the tex's allday everyday...

yea, i never heard of them before, but when i did i only heard fantastic things about them, there have been the occasional mishaps, but that was never because of the clutch, only because of who installed them.

sorry i disagree with this statement, i did over 50 passes at 140mph on one of these clutch's and did nothing but abuse it with burnouts starting off in 3rd gear, i even dropped massive burnouts by dropping the clutch in 4th gear whilst already driving at 110kmh and the abuse rolled on.
when i pulled the clutch out after around 5000km, the clutch hadnt even beaded in 100% let alone starting to wear out.
