Has anyone got instructions on how to remove the phone holder in a CV8. I keep knocking it when changng gears and just want it gone.

Holden never recommended them for manual cars, for this very reason. If you unscrew the left hand trim panel that goes near the glovebox, you should be able to sort it out.

Does it just slide off or do you have to dismantle it? I didn't put it in, the first owner did, I did notice he wasn't using it though.

Open your glovebox, and you'll see a few screws holding it on where the glovebox covers them.

Sweet, it's out. The stupid things been rubbing though. I'll probably end up getting another one of the lower console surround pieces.
Cheers for the help davo.

Best place for the manuals is using a metal bracket down the side of the cd player if you still want the car kit
