I was just wondering how many LS2's have had an ls2edit and thought, what better way to find out than a poll?

Be interesting to see what the final ratio is. Anyone willing to take a punt? I'm figuring only about 10-15% would have been down that track.

This is going to be a very poor study, most people on this site wouldn't mind performing modifications on there car, other people couldn't care less and will not have things modified at all, they will keep it original.

So won't that show the number of edited vs non-edited?

I realise it's not going to be Bureau of Statistics worthy, but should give a general feel for the ratio between the two. :)

So far, it looks like my 10-15% may be a little out.

Here is my dyno sheet. The tune was done in August last year at 12,000km. A4, no mods done, just the tune.

She's now done 28,000km and hasn't missed a beat on a diet of Ultimate and Vortex 95. She's loosened up more and feels stronger now than when the tune was done. Must get it back on the dyno again one day out of interest.

Had mine done straight after 3k service, with headers went 226-260rwkw.
However as with most mods,I couldnt stop there.
I thought the stock LS2 was rather gutless imo.

My LS2 got a cam and edit at 3000klms and all good. Heaps more power and grunt. - 289rwkw

Then at around 4200klms took it back to get the heads done and gained 25rwkw above the cam figure. - 314rwkw

With head and cam package i did 12.3 at 117mph in M6 full weight of 1920kg and only 3 meets at the track. It could of done 11s with the cooler weather and more practice.

Next mods is the Gent1000 kit ive just started installing. Car has done near on 6000klms so its still got heaps of loosening up yet.

Seems like its been getting mods done more than iam driving it.

I say get your edit ASAP and a cam. You wont regret it.
