Problems With Remote Locking

I had problems with remote locking towards the end of last year. Whenever I used the remote to lock the car, it would just flash its indicators and beep (locking by key worked fine). This was an occasional problem but progressively got worse until it did it every time. The dealer's "expert" had a look at it and said it definitely wasn't the BCM (Body Control Module) so it must be the lock themselves. So they replaced all the locks and it still didn't work. They then replaced the BCM and it worked fine again.

Until yesterday. The LHR passenger door lock appears to be sticking because the alarm sounded again yesterday and today when I tried to lock the car using the remote, so I had to lock it manually. It could be the cold weather, as it was -5C this morning :shock: , although none of the other locks were affected.

Anyone else experience this problem?

my passenger door does this every week or so (when the missus is with me) and I have to get in the car and unlock and relock the passenger door, I will be putting it on the list for the next service.

Central locking actuator on that door. Pretty common.
