VY-VZ Automatic Shifter into VX Automatic

Hi all,

Anyone know whether this is possible? I understand the VY/VZ has a boot under the shifter whereas the VX is just the shifter attached to the shifter arm.

Ok - forget about the boot under the shifter for the minute, can you just swap the VY/VZ shifter for the VT/TX variety?
