Handbrake adjustment on VT SS 5.0 litre

G'day blokes, new to the site. I do all of my own simple servicing, but was wondering if anybody out there can explain how to tighten the handbrake on a Commo VT SS V8 auto.

Mate when somebody answers ur thread i will be able to perform those same duties as i dont know how to adjust the hand brake either.

Jack the vehicle up and put it on stands,remove the rear wheels and ensure vehicle is in "nuetral" with the hand brake all the way down.Put 2 nuts back on the disc opposite each other on both sides,so you know the disc is sitting flush on the hub,then remove one of the 2 rubber plugs.using a torch locate the adjuster inside the disc,its located at the bottom.adjust the shoes till the disc locks,then bak it of few turns at a time till it spins "freely" or with out any drag,repeat it on the other side and check h/brake before putting it all bak together,hope this helps
