QPS Infringement Notice Codes

Hi all,

does anyone know where i could get a list of the Infringement codes used for Traffic Infringement Notices (issued by Queensland Police) and the corresponding explanations (and possibly penalties) for each code?

Im sure you can get them from somewhere.
Interested to know why you would want these??

Try RTA or you may have to apply and spend a bit of dosh to get them though.
They wouldnt be the sort of thing they would publish on the net i dont think.

Hi All first post, been reading this site for some time however i don't own a V8 LS, LS2 or L76 but am interested in getting a Thunder Ute in the not to distant future.

Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 (TORUM) and the
Transport Operations Regulations. do a search under legislation or on the Qld Gov site all of the basic Traffic Infringement Notices are issued under this Act or regulation if you don't do any good let me know what codes you want deciphered, i may be able to assist you.

i did find that traffic legislation stuff however i am more after the related codes that an officer will write on an infringement notice and the respective descriptions (including points/fine/etc.).
so anyone that might know where i could get that just let us know.

i might try ringing up Qld Transport and/or SPER and seeing how i go.

Yeah, you won't find them under the legislation, the codes are developed by Qld Transport and SPER. QPS has little to do with the setting of the codes, just have to use them to make processing easier for Transport/SPER.
Don't know that you will find them on line, I had a serach for you under SPER and Qld Transport but couldn't find anything; although with my computer skills that probably doesn't mean a lot.
Is there a specific one you looking for, or just generally want the whole list.
