Hi All,

New to this forum capa!

Im looking to buy a used WK Statesman, how am I able to find out more about its origination, ie whether its HSV or not? Rego certificate says it is but how can I make sure and what would have been modified if it has been to HSV?

Simple answer. There are NO HSV Statesmans, only Granges, in WK. If the car has HBD options, it will have an HBD build plate, but no extra power.

Any idea why the Certificate of Rego would say HSV?
The car is having a NRMA pre-purchase inspection today, hopefullly I will fins out a little more about the vehicle.

It will be badged and registered as HSV, not Holden, that is why it will say HSV. An HSV doesnt have anything 'Holden" identified on the body or trim. Look at the Build plate under the bonnet as mentioned by planetdavo.
Bottom line is, if it's a Statesman it's not HSV
