VX S2 SS.....niggling issues

On the weekend just passed, coming home from a lengthy outing along with another carload, we got into some "spirited" driving, well, I did as he had an astra :).....anywa, I noticed in a few places where the roads are not in the best of repair and somewhat lumpy that I was bouncing and swaying quite a bit, enough to make me back off the go pedal quite a few times. Now I was under the impression that the suspension on the VX SS was quite firm and this really shouldnt happen, what would you guys recommend I do to it to improve the hadling while not losing too much of the comfort factor of the ride.
I need recommendations for Perth please as well as a good place to get the exhaust upgraded as well

Do you have Pedders suspension over there?
If you do, get it lowered with thicker springs.
Atleast a 21mm sway bar up front and Pedders heavy duty Gas shocks all round.
Works a treat ;)
