The brakes are just standard Commodore brakes up until the VZ Monaro.
I guess somewhere around 175-185rwkw standard for a 225kw Series I. My Series II (235kw) Manual had 190rwkw totally stock.

Around 170-180rwkw and brakes are Twin Piston Calipers.
Not sure on the rotor sizes though for the 2002 model?
Front: 298mm? Rear 286mm?

Yeah brakes are the same that are on the VT's, VX's and VY's so nothing special at all :(
In regards to power well they don't have enough, tune on mine was shit pulled only around 178rwkw with full exhaust and diff gears... Edit saw her jump to 238rwkw :D
Mate congrats on the car :) you will love it....

Havent run it at WSID yet. Waiting to get a Orsom CAI from Sonny, then a Tex before I hit the 1/4.
Tez it could be the PT tune mine was done there and was 239kw mines an auto with the usual mods
VT-5l I upgraded my brakes to the 330/315 PBR there is a big improvement on the stock items good enough for street use I recomend this kit for the price they are

i was disappointed i got the auto and was like ok...this isnt that quick it couldnt be pulling more the 170rwkw....i believe it would pull maybe a 15-14.8 on the 1/4. Also another big problem is, it gets soo much wheel spin all the time. just gas it, and shell spin to about 60 kms. Its got falkens hugging the factory 18's on it. I was expecting it to perform a bit like a mates VY 160 clubby (auto) but was a bit let down :S
is this normal? i own the car, mechanics have said its A1 condition, is this just how the auto 225kw is? whats the best way to get a real kick in the pants out of it? :)

Mate normal, especially auto's are very sluggish that's why the edit really allows the car to perform to its full potential :D Edit is really worth it if you have a auto, as it changes your shift points, increases line pressure within the tranny, etc... Although compared with ur previous VT 5L which would have pulled around 130rwkw in a heavy VT shell I am amazed you already use to the new power from the gen3 :p

i had a 5l VT and a V6 VT that my brother drove. The 5l had cat back on it and the ecotech had a stage 2 crow cam on it with rr's, exaust headers etc. Even when the 5l got its headers put on , the vt ecotech would anihilate it. on the dyno the vt pulled out 145 rwkw  not bad for a v6, but even standard, the 5l wasnt anything special at all, before or after the exuast system.

Check out the sureflo site, they are a forum sponsor and have a lot of good info about exhausts. Greg from sureflo really knows his stuff.
I've got a 2002 V2 Manual and will probably be getting Pacemaker 4>1 extractors and the sureflo dual 2.5" system put on. Wont be happening for a while though, gotta get the dosh up first

Mate go see Greg at Sureflo, I got Pacie tri-y's (HPC coated) opened cat pipes and 3.5" single system for 1500 bucks in mild steel. Its a great system that sounds tuff. Chuck in an edit and OTRCAI and you will see about 225 to 235 rwkw and a whole new driving experience!!!

whats the major difference between pacies and defillipo?
is it a Major power diff or just minor?

It's probably best if you drop Greg a line, his user name is Thunder. The big difference in deflippo systems is the way the dual systems merge, as far as extractors go it all depends on the type of extractors you choose, Tri-Y, 4>1, HPC, etc.
What vt350phantom has is what Greg recommended to me for a good street set-up. Unless you are taking your car to the strip or track it would do plenty good.
