Beeping Horn

Just wondering has anyone else ever had this problem??
when i lock my car, it beeps i think 5 times real quick, like i lock the car with a door open or something, bt everything is closed!!!
i got home at around 3am this morning, and i woke up the whole street when i locked the car, just woke up a few hours ago, and tried to figure out why its doing it, but i don't know, ive checked everything twice over and everything is closed, its a vy ss
i checked the little trip computer, and it says only indicators go off when the car locks.
Can someone help me with this problem???
any help will be much appreciated.

Usually happens when a central locking actuator is failing in one door, and doesn't lock the door properly.

all the doors lock...
it locks all round once, beeps 5 times quickly, then i dead lock it, strange thing is, now it doesn't do it.
it was doing it last night right up till now, :hmmm:

My VT11 used to do that. It ended up being water in the central locking connector in the LHR door. The door would lock and the horn beep. Sometimes later the doors would open by themselves.
The connector was replaced and no problem since.
The dealer advised that the horn sounding when locking the doors indicates a fault in the system.
