Hi,

I had my 2003 Cv8 Monaro serviced at a Holden dealer in Canb the other day and was charged nearly $90 for Mobil 1 10w30. Since when did Mobil 1 become so expensive? What is the best oil to use in Gen IIIs?

Unless you supplied the oil, the dealer would have had to organise to pick it up and would up the price to cover the cost of them going out to get it as well as the petrol they used.

M1 10w30 is really, really expensive... Almost twice 5w50... Dunno why...

That's a pretty reasonable price... I bought 6 litres from supercheap, and it was north of $100.
