Well, I finally did it.

Went to APS yesterday and got me a MAFLESS custom edit.

All I can say is wow! Frank and Mick certainly know what they are doing there. Very professional setup and very helpful.

That Maloo that was there is f'ing mental. Can't wait to see what it does on the dyno after they can go more than half throttle (1000rwhp+)

My car was stock except for a Sureflo 3.5" Loud cat-back, KN Filter (no 2nd hole mod) and a 4" GTS MAF pipe. It pulled 211rwkw.

After the boys got done with (and did the 2nd hole mod) it I was running 235.0rwkw! They reckon there was more to be had but the stock valve springs started to float at about 5300rpm.

I am very impressed. The guys really have a passion for what they do and it shows.

Now I have to start saving for valve springs, headers and cats. It's neverending :)

Thanks again guys.

Cheers
Sam

Thats awesome. Did you stick around for any of the power runs? Mafless is the way the gen series engines are spose to be on the street i reckon, great power and economy as well.

Mick ran it up when we returned from Frankston to the shop for us to hear. A full power runup.

It was cool to see the whole chassis flex under load. Bloody loud too :D

Thats sweet that you got it done Sam im sure you wont regret it!
Im still smiling from having my MAFLESS edit done last week at APS. Its getting better than 14l/100 and thats with my foot down. I think the economy is better thatn before the tune!
Are you going to take it down the strip at all Sam?

Calder is the closest, but for beginners I would recommend Heathcote. Keep in touch with us and next time we head out, you can join us.

:) very cool - nearly the same as my figures. I got 311rwhp at Sams last week !!! Are you lovin the grunt ? Your figues equate to 315kw at the fly, now that is tasty !!!
