Have u done all the necessary searches? There is a wealth of information on here already so you can work it out for yourself rather than asking other people what road you should take.

Its interesting on other thoughts, this is just not a few dollars
getting spent here, so why not ask, thats why i come to this
forum to ask questions. And yes i did search, thanks.

What is your budget ?
I went down the cam only road, and have been very happy with the result. Makes the car sound nice, with a bit more grunt.
Do you have an addictive personality ??
I would probably go Force Induction if i had my time again, just so i could have mountains of power, but really my 270rwkw its plenty on the street..
If i was in your position i would look at the Gen-TT or similar costing blower kits. If the budget isnt there for that at the moment, pick a nice cam that will suit forced induction if you ever feel the desire in the future.
Good Luck

Thanx Dan, im leaning towards the blower.
I've owned an after-market turbo in the past and still have a soft spot for them. The rush of turbo power leaves an impression.
Having said that, I think I'd sway towards a Harrop style blower for an LS1. A few things influence my thinking. The PD supercharger kit:
Is cheaper than a turbo.
Should produce less under-bonnet heat.
Should be easier to install as it does not require exhaust mods.
Turbo's might make more power, but we're talking LS1's here - I don't think they need the nth degree of power. A good PD blower is over-the-top anyway. Won't it light up the tyres in at least the first two gears? How much more power do you need when you're starting with an LS1???

I'm running a TT setup on my One Tonner. It still drives like a normal car but the power is there if you want it. I'm running 9psi into the stock engine and getting 404 kw at the wheels. I have a second One Tonner for work and the TT gets better fuel economy if your not on the gas all the time.
One of the best things about the TT setup is there is no noise whatsoever at idle so most people dont know what is under the bonnet. A friend of mine has a VS 5.7 supercharged and you can hear it coming just from the blower noise.

I rekon a capa or vortec supercharger will go nicely. If you go on the Vortec website they have prices. Goodluck

Turbo (GenTT or similar) ~ 13K installed
FI (PWR or Harrop) ~ 10K installed
Cam only ~ 5K installed
Different results for differnt combos and of course depends on youyr budget.
Good Luck
