Gday,

After about two years without a V8 (I previously owned an LX Torana Street/Show car, altough only quite mild) I have just bought a black VX II SS Auto and must say so far I am loving the GENIII.

It has only 60,000kms and is stock except for a cat back exhaust system. I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning how to squeeze some extra kws out of it!! It was bought from Metro Holden in Adelaide, and has a 3year extended NEW car warranty on it (which makes me a bit hesitant as to what I can and CANT do to the LS1, anyone with more info on this please let me know!).

If there is ANYTHING I can do without voiding my warranty, I might look to you guys for some first hand experience on the best mods to begin with....

Cheers.

edit is your first and most worthwhile step, basically holden wont know its there so no issues with warranty.....give street-tuna a call and he will see you right

I've been told an edits the way to go.. I would love it to pull away from a standing start a bit quicker.

Ive also been partially filled in on the 'two hole' induction mod but figure this would definetely be a warranty voiding experience.

Won't Holden notice the edit when they tune the car though?

basically they dont check unless there is an issue with the computer...I've had 4 ls1's and 1 ls2 all edited and never had a problem
