I know this piece of road. Definately not a stretch I'd be speeding in. Nothing the law these days can dish out will teach these jokers any lessons. Oh well, another temperary australian...

Now there is a better story. No b.s, just the facts. Young kid caught speeding.
A dickhead is a dickhead no matter the type of vehicle, what nationality he was, or anything else. Can't wait for the FUN POLICE to report on this one.

They are the D%^kheads that the Hoon laws should be focussed on:bash:
It'd be safe to say that everyone who has posted in this thread has broken the speed limit by more than 30km/h atleast once in their life.

true but Ive also only ever done it in controlled conditions ... ie at the race track.
No need to go acting stupid on the road when I can push my car to the limit down the main straight at Eastern Creek.
Then again they need to be really showing the consequences. Last night at the end of our street a motorcyclist got killed because a car was flying into the corner and didnt see him. Knocked him clean off.
I went for a walk down there to see what all the habub was about, and as with any serious accident it was terrible seeing where the car was positions, and even more so where the bike ended up, as I stood there I watched the paramedics load a body bag into the back of the ambulance, yet only meters away the driver of the car was sitting down well and truley shattered and not in a good way themselves.
And only last week a workmate was broken down in a breakdown lane of a freeway during peak hour... makes sense ... so P plater thought he could fly past everyone down the breakdown lane afterall traffic was doing 70 odd kph and he could do an easy 100kph, collected my mates stationary car and somehow the P platers car ended up on its roof across 2 lanes of the freeway. Is he ok? The last we heard the simple answer is no. Is my mate ok, yes but only because he wasnt in the car - he started to walk to the emergency phone because hes always had a fear of being broken down and being side swiped.

Certainly. Older and wiser now but. Had the finger pointed at me way back when by 'older and wiser' folk. Now its my prerogative to do the same... :p

That is just plain stupid and I have no sympathy for him at all.
The really sad part is the inevitable media and public attention it will draw toward mature, experienced owners of performance cars such as many of us here.
Im not claiming to have been a saint when i was younger, but that sort
of stuff is just idiotic and irresponsible. Bring in anti-hoon laws I say, BUT
direct them at those who really deserve the attention, such as this loser.

lts safe to say most people have gone 30 over the limit. But this guy was doing 120 over so I fail to see why someone mentioned about people doing 30 over?
either way the guy is a dumbass for going So fast in any zone.
hoon laws would be good but maybe he will end up in gaol, or not being able to drive for years to come.
