Cruise Length : up to 1 hr driving depending on traffic

Cost : $30 donation all proceeds going to the starlight foundation

I think some of us may be new to these sort of meets and so it could be useful if more comprehensive information can be provided.

Missing bits in the jigsaw puzzle for me are..

1- Street location for Beenleigh Tavern
2- Confirming we aim to be/need to be there at 09:00am?
3- Do you have to have an LS1 - (eg I have a VX s/c V6)
4- What happens and goes on during the day ?
5- Expected duration ?
6- How do we get validated ?

I know some info has been communicated but - not all of us have been before and it would really help if more meat could be out on the bone.

you need to have a sticker on ur car to be elligiable to be in the CLUB awards...

Rachel is a lovely 8 year old girl from Brisbane who is fighting the battle of her life with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Unlike most kids her age who are learning to read and write and play sports, Rachel has been in and out of hospital, and undergoing vigorous medical treatment.

Rachel loves music and can be often seen bopping away to her favourite tunes with her little brother and sister. She also loves Ballet, and with the assistance of Starlight, she is now learning the fine art of ballet at her local ballet school, where her teacher tells us she is a natural.

Through your generosity, you will be enabling Rachel to fulfil her special Starlight Wish of swimming with the dolphins. Together with her family, Rachel will be travelling down for a week of fun in the sun with the dolphins at Coffs Harbour. Starlight has also organised a very private and special swim with a little dolphin named Bella. Rachel can’t wait to get down there to enjoy her ultimate dream and we can’t wait to see her little face light up as she gets in the water for this special event.

I think dave said there was about 590 odd cars down there. It was packed but the hour we waited in the line at the Tavern was a pain in the a#$. Then it really was every man for themselves from there.

yeah... we need a Bigger car park i think, we only expected 300 cars... so to have 540ish was getting beyond the Joke... But i think we Raised about $15,000 for Start Light which is something to be Proud of:)

I had to be home at about 3 o'clock so the wait for over an hour to register, the traffic at the coast (getting cut off by a member of another club and almost rear-ending him) and not getting a park anywhere close ment I got there only to have to turn around and come home. :( .
