Have just been passed on this email from a mate. May be of interest to some of you:

To Whom it May Concern

Due to closing our business down we currently have a number of used Kumho Ecsta V70A R Spec 205/50/15”, 205/45/16” and 225/45/17” tyres left over from last years Lotus Trophy Series. The regulations for the series required all drivers to purchase a new set of tyres every round, therefore these tyres have around 50% tread remaining. This opportunity will last for “ONE WEEK ONLY” due to the fact that we are currently clearing out our workshop at No 2 Donald St Guildford.

The tyres are a bargain at $25-00 each and will not last past the one week period.
(These tyres were charged out at $330 to the Lotus drivers since 2004)

These tyres have excellent grip and reasonable durability. They tend to come on quickly and stay very consistent until they’re worn out. They are an excellent tyre for circuit racing and super sprints and they are road registerable.

If you or any of your club members are interested please contact Paul Pickett on 02 9681 2929 during business hours or 0416 215 858.

I was there today and my mates managed to buy about 30 of them.
Most of the good 17 inch are gone now and better for a wrx and Evo as they are are a 225.
He is also selling a standard exhoust system off a Commodore (not sure which but I took a pic) and other things of interest like a tyre machine, gearbox hoist, car hoist and a DYNO :)
Dyno is worth around 15k and has recently been serviced.
Has other things in storage like harnesses.
Since his number is already up anyone of interest can ring.

Bob
