New Camaro Confirmed.

GM (U.S.A.) today confirmed officially that the Camaro will go into production late 2008, for delivery 2009. GM says the car will be engineered in Australia, but produced in North America. There will be various powertrain combinations including a V6 option. No news on a replacement GTO yet though!

google :) That is great news.... if we get them, I am putting an order in - the new Camaro has to be one of the best looking shapes that has come out of any design house in years.

Has anyone heard if it wil be made available in OZ ??

This is excellent news for GM, and Holden, as the odds of Australia getting a Monaro now have suddenly firmed ! :headbang:

if its offered here, odds are so will the Dodge Challenger. I know which one id prefer. challenger all the way, over the cartoony looking camaro
