Climate Control Air Cond??

Hey.
Most of the 05 models VZ SS 5.7lt have got the
normal type of air cond in them..

I saw 1 today at a car yard that has got Electronic
Climate Control..
Was this an option on these cars????
Has anyone else with a VZ SS have it??
Have done a bit of a google but could not
find anything about it.....

Climate control has been an option since the VN/VP from memory.

Standard on 2005 VZSS with or without leather (mine's cloth and it has climate); for the 2004, I think it was with leather only.

Does anyone know if it is a plug and play upgrade? Ive seen a digital unit for sale at a good price but if there is a lot of mucking around it probably wont be worth it

With previous models its was easier to buy a new car than do the conversion...:driving:I would assume VZ manual controls are still that manual but you never know maybe the provisions are there all the sensors and looms ready?

Do a search it is covered here somewhere. I was thinking of doing the same conversion but for the cost and work involved it is not worth the effort. From memory there is ducting, wiring and a whole host of stuff that needs changing.

From what I have read it's not worth the effort converting to Climate. Climate started as an option on the VYII.

Fair enough, it seems like a headache i'll just stick with the manual controls. Thanks for the tips
