The oil pressure sender on my VX Calais LS1 is faulty so i'm looking around to get it replaced.
My mechanic will do the job for about $200 ($141 for the sender + labour), is that reasonable?
How much has everyone else paid for the job?
Would I be correct in saying that it should be replaced sooner rather than later?
Cheers.

Mate its easy to replace yourself and you can but the socket for it from repco for $15. Part itself is around 110 to 150 so shop around :p I had this problem and fixed it all for $110 :D

I agree with Tez - yeah reasonable thing to do yourself, but to answer your question re is the price reasonable for your mechanic - I suppose I would have to say yes - $200 does sound a reasonable price - mechanics have to eat as well ;)
