View Full Version : Member / LS1 car spotting
I was just wondering if we had ever had a special forum or thread for member/car spotting?
Ive noticed on some other car forums that they have special forums for member spotting in each state or major city.
Who thinks it would be a good idea?
Im always driving past wonderful LS1 and LS2's now on the street with mods or just looking great and clean standard and think to myself, I betcha his a ls1.com.au member.
We wouldnt give out the plates, just the car for example 'saw a black hsv y series clubbie today in the arvo with a grunty note to it driving alongside me down the hume highway in Burwood (or etc.) and had white and black custom plates (or standard yellow plates and etc.)'.
What do u think?

What do u think?
You could just look for the LS1.com.au stickers on the rear quater windows of my car or my LS1.com.au jacket :headbang:
Don't think it's needed though.

I like the idea,
When i had the Astra Turbo, I used to like reading 'UFO - Unidentified Flying Opels' in Opelaus Forums, and Ive also spotted one or two neat LS1s around and wondered if they were members.

Interesting topic. I was just thinking where to post about a car currently parked in our carpark from way down south. G&D PWR supercharged Red SV8 from Victoria. Was thinking it might be Deejay till I saw the auto shifter.

i think if this car was Deejay's it would most likely have GM MOTORSPORTS and not G&D.....
if its the car im thinking of it was a mirror image of Deejays at calder one 11 second night....
maybe REDSV8

This is why it works out handy if people have their numberplates as their username. I've seen a couple of cars around that I've seen as usernames on here. If you see a silver VZ SS ute in Melbourne with BIGDAO plates, that's me!

I love the idea myself. I live in Sydney and see so many nice looking LS1 powered rides getting about and wonder if they know about this place.
I'd actually offer some massive bonus points for spotting me during the week as my home is less than a km to my office. It's a 1st and 2nd gear drive haha.
But I hear speak of stickers? Where would one procure such a thing?
Or perhaps I should bug the two sponsors I plan to visit for their stickers when I get my zorst and edit done soon.......
