New VE Calais V-spec ordered today!!!!

The Clubby has been traded today on a new VE Calais V-spec Gen4, black with cream leather interior. I was very dubious about buying a black car, but being as anal as I am when it comes to cleaning my cars, I thought "In for a penny in for a pound". The dealer didn't have any V8 calais or even a V-spec but I got to drive their silver SS V-spec. Loved it, but thought the interior was a bit garish. Back to an auto, but it is a 6 speed. Drove the 300C the other day, nice car but it feels real big and heavy. Happy with being in a Holden, but I am sure I will miss that HSV feeling none the less. Looking forwarded to getting the Calais out for a run on the Newcastle cruise in October.

Not a straight answer to that as they juggled the trade-in figure and gave a discount on the new car price. So around 25-26K trade in. After all negotiations were said and done, I got to use my $3000 discount from Holden Mastercard as well which I was very happy about. I have just got off the phone to a family member who will be using the other $3000 worth of discount in purchasing a SS-V as well, so they are chuffed tool. Been a good day all round.:dance:
