That's are very good question Pickles and it will interesting to see the responses.
From personal experience I would say they are way too expensive.
I chased them up for a set of carbon fibre door trims and was quoted $3600 which blew fair out of me chair.
Put a call through to Ryan at Racer Industries who sourced me a set through Paul Morris Motorsport for $1600 and after seeing those fitted to the Balrain cars I would these are every bit as good.

Theyve had an ad in Auto Action running for the last couple weeks for VY-VZ power upgrades. Catback + springs + cold air intake? for around $1500 - dont quote me I dont have the info at hand

Dont forget that Walkinshaw Performance have taken out a sponsorship package which doesnt provide them with their own dedicated forum section (ie Marrannos, Textralia, etc). This is where most people usually lodge all their feedback and product announcements.

Yeah, I understand that, & yes, I've seen the advertisements for the exhaust/suspension upgrades. I just thought there would have been some sort of feedback--I mean, I'm a member of the HSVOC (VIC), same as HSV105, but I've heard nothing there either.
Maybe they're busy doing internal stuff for HSV etc, I've got no idea--hense the question, "What are they doing!"
If they're reading this, maybe they'd like to give us an update as to where they're at, & what they've been doing,--interesting projects etc. This is the "factory" performance division after all, so naturally there'd be plenty of us who'd like to know the latest!
Cheers, Pickles.
Guys let me tell you we have been quite busy since opening here. We are building up a strong client base for oue VE product launch on the 1st of September, which will be announced here and on our website, where we have had a pre order from for VE for the last week or 2.
We will have spring and exhaust packages in stock for VE in the 2nd week of September and a unique 20x8 wheel package following in the week after that.
In approx 4 weeks we will also be able to go market with a full ADR compliant 365mm / 350mm brake package as well !
Our advertised VT-VZ 'specials' packages have been extremely popular,we have fitted 20 or so packages so far,and have ongoing bookings. Ther are 2 stage 1 and 1 stage 2 supercharger upgrades in the workshop at the moment as well..
I am always here, and on our website to answer any question you guys may have,if it got busy enough we would get involved in our own sponsor section.
HSV-105,I am glad Ryan could help you out, with your door trims. We are reliant on HRT's composite department for that product and as you are aware they are expensive and very busy...
Cheers

Sounds good. Any idea on prices yet? What does the spring package involve? The general consensus on here is that the VEs look great but are far, far too high. However the general feeling is that due to ESP they possibly can't be lowered. Is that true or does your package involve tweaking of the ESP to suit?
How much do your packages lower VE?

Thanks WP01, that was a quick reply--perhaps, in the future, you could give us weekly comments on developments, or anything else that you're doing. Are you doing your own edits / tunes yet-, what are you doing as regards a dyno?, that sort of info would be good.
Cheers, Pickles.

This is a question im sure many enthusiast buyers will want to know, and whether it affects ESP (same with the brakes).
I Imagine you will have been working closly with holden and bosch on this?

Hi AL,
Just wondering why you only went for 8 inch wheel? Doesnt that only allow for 245 fitted rubber? I would have thought the general consensus would be most people converting to aftermarket wheels would rather throw on some wider rubber, closer to 275, at least for the rears?

Hi,I will answer as much as I can at this early stage,,,,,pricing will be released at the launch, but I can tell you it will be very similar to current VZ packages.
We have a 30mm package at the moment, that has the car sitting just right !

Hi, Yes ESP and ABS are interlinked and are effected by different brakes and other inputs.

Hi, In case you are not aware VE has a different wheel stud size to all other commodores ,14mm compared to 12mm so wheels have different stud hole and nut seat, Also offsets are totally different as well,so when we confirmed our first wheel and tyre package,it was a general size that could be fitted to a range of cars, plus the availability and cost of 20" tyres is a factor.I Have no doubt that we will have a larger version in the near future..
AL
HI all,
Just a note to let all know,we have been busier than ever with development of our first release of VE product products !

WP01, what i see has worked extremely well for the big players (doughboys, marranos, powertorque) is post detailed information / photos on the customer car builds.
I must admit this is the first thing i look at when checking out ls1.com.au daily, i presume there is alot of other people on this forum that do the same.
Anyways i wish you the best.

Thanks, we appreciate that.
I think there was mention somewhere about WP and Holden warrenties. Just spoke to one of the local Holden dealers who confirmed from their spare parts department that WP "are an aftermarket product and are not warranted by Holden, purely because they are not a genuine part" and they can "be fitted to the car but a disclaimer must be signed"
Are you able to confirm this? I think a few of the guys around here were hoping to be covered if installed at time of purchase

As per the comments in this thread below,,, "warranty is between you and your dealer" There is some chance that this may change in the future, but is definately the current situation.
