1996 VS Commodore series I executive, manual, white (165,000 km’s) ~$8000 ONO
-body work overall is really good, surprising for car of this age (only blemish is small patch on the front right corner where previous owner hit something, currently painted with stone chip paint, panel fine)
-colour coded handles and rear beaver panel
-I replaced quite a few rubbers when I bought the car
-tinted windows
-t5 gearbox with h/duty clutch (2nd gear has occasional small rattle, but really firm gear knob)
-Vx ecotec engine (70,000k’s 120 rwkw) – no oil leaks at all, doesn’t use oil
-k&n filter and CAI
-relatively new rad
-2.5” cat-back exhaust, fairly quiet nice sound
- king springs superlow ~2” lowered, front good, back is a tad high for towing
-monroe shocks
-adjustable panhard bar
-3.08 LSD (there is a small occasional clunk in diff or tailshaft, which I haven’t investigated, could be CV joint on its way out??)
-brand new 16X7” interceptors with Falken ZE326 225/50/16, virtually 95+%
-new slotted front rotors and newish pads
-interior is stock, no rips or tears in seats, drivers side foam a tad squished, one or two small stains in carpet, rear has eyelet hooks screwed into floor where subs used to be held down (previous owner)
-Alpine head unit a couple years old with single CD (nothing flash)
-additional immobiliser activated through key fob
-have all the receipts and stuff from previous owners
-comes with tow bar, only 1200kg (although I towed a hx wagon on a trailer with no problems) car sat well
-currently registered in vic (till april 07)
Very nice car that goes really well, haven’t had any hassles towing and driving. After a quick sale.
Located in Toowoomba, will drive to Brisbane or Sydney for sale.
