You need at least two anyway...when you say Glenny...

Glenroy.
Glen Waverely.
Glen Iris...

Glen 20....

See thread title!

Getting validated from Glen Waverley is a piece of cake! All you need do is come down to Chev's one Sat arvo (not on a long weekend though) and meet some of the validated members who go there then. Anywhere from probably 6 to 20 get there Sat arvo and have a laugh and chat. All very low key. Yesterday we got to see UT's TT GTS and an AMG C63 go on the rollers.

However, I suspect that given the OP hasn't bothered to come on cruises or go to functions in his area that we've had he's no longer worried about getting validated.

I know a few on here...

They sent in the validation stuff months ago...

Months later, I am still not validated...

That sort of thing was covered in a thread somewhere a while back. A lot of people apparently don't include all they need to in order to get a member validated, or do things like mis-spell the forum name of the person they want to validate. For example they could have done yours as MYT-05 instead of MYT_05 and the mods (all volunteers) haven't got time to chase people up when they make that sort of fundamental error when they've got 36,000+ other members to worry about. Apparently quite a few people who say they'll validate someone don't actually remember to do it!

I've validated quite a few people and in liaison with the 2nd validator they've all been validated within 24 hours. I'd recommend getting the people who say they've validated you to resubmit their applications making sure they get your forum name 100% correct and giving a short justification for validation.

This year or last year? Rings a bell from this year but I met so many people there I can't remember details of them all......... Probably best as I said to come down to Chev's one Sat arvo and there'll be a number of us there who can validate you. It's certainly not a closed shop and new people are always welcome! We all just have a good chat and laugh - no advanced techo stuff.
