haha well if we get enough *im in*'s then maybe just a drive to palm beach? livo or la perouse is a bit too short of a trip to make it worthwhile. Can maybe even go through the national park in akuna bay if you guys are feeling it.. although its quite a bumpy ride through there though, let me know what you guys think.

Bringing the missus and also kids is fine on any LS1 cruise, many of us do... On this occasion i wont be only because they already have plans, otherwise i would for sure.

Also I think the cruise in honnor idea is sweet. so that means no:burnout::nono:

Count me in. I think the black ribbon across bonnet is a good gesture. PPL on the road will recognise whats going on and what the cruise is dedicated to. And I have no problems with any other cars coming - Brocky wasn't just a hero to Holden fans, but to many many others as well.

The SV300 is all washed and spotless battery's charged up and i changed the oil and filter well so she's ready to cruise ;):evil: ,even though i dont let anyone ever ride in the bak,it was real dusty took ages to clean it .

Just got bak from the cruise,it was great to have the SV300 out,and meet some new faces,there was plenty of cars and lots of cops ! hope to do it again soon !!

Nirvana and I finally got to line our Gen-T calais' up at a set of lights for a grudge match ... pity the swooping coppers came and ruined our fun. Oh well, our race to 40km/h without breaking traction was exciting nonetheless :yawn: next time dennis ... next time

good to see they've got their effort focused in the right direction. Instead of sorting out tailgating, speeding and general insanity on the roads, they're punishing something that is fairly harmless and can actually aid in navigating the pothole-ridden roads the government should be fixing anyway, with our money I might add.

i am anticipating the punches :) ... and if it were me i would have given you a warning, but i dont agree with foglights on our cars. they do dazzle/annoy people believe it or not, including myself.

they make your car look good, but i keep it to photo ops, those lights depending on model really annoy other drivers in clear conditions and dont aid visibility beyond low beam.

sorry you got pinged, but i felt i should speak my mind :)

ps. i wish sonny had told me this earlier in the week, i havent checked back here in a while.

Sorry we didn't get to meet too many of you as Denise and I went to dinner around the corner while everyone was out the front of Sonny's shop. (bloody nice Indian tucker too!)

We'll have to make the next one a day time thing though, maybe go somewhere for a B-B-Q lunch. Might have to get away from the Northern Beachs as well ..... us Coasties aren't used to seeing so many Coppers .... bloody 'ell they were out in force weren't they.

Anyway it was a good night and regardless of the coppers being in our face it was good to meet and greet plenty of new faces.

Biggest cruise I have ever seen.....the line at Macca's at North Ryde was totally awesome. Pity it was so dark...the pics would have been fantastic.

I hope the cops didnt hassel you guys to much last night . I bailed out about 3/4 way to palm beach , last thing i needed was to get defected or harrased ..My exhaust is a little loud:yup: but it does sound gr8 , i may also be biased.. After turning around there was at least 3 hwy patrol cars heading your direction .. We went into the city/cross went to a few clubs seen some naked b***hes .Then headed back to Newcastle ,i got home at 5am , woken by me 3yr old at 7am :flipoff:

It was a top night!! my 1st cruise! Thanks to all who spear headed the cruise. Pity the cops had to get involved somehow, but they probly heard about 35 odd LS1's blocking a lane twice. what a great site!!

Hey every one.Well what a cruise night that was it had every thing full of action and drama.Its just amazing how you can get 40+cars together like that its just great considering we dont realy no each other all that well. It goes to show you our love for our cars and good Australian friendship.
Sonny i think a statement was said to you last night buy all off us off in the amount off cars and people that turned out for this cruise and the relationship you have built with people through your business and this forum.

:vpo: Man I am so pissed, I got a flat had to chuck a spare on got to Sonny's at 8:30pm. Took off towards Palm Beach and notice WAY TOO many cops, I take it easy get pulled over for a random breath test. Cop starts to hassle me about my p plate's not showing properly so he makes me hop out of the car and stick the p plates onto my boot and bonnet. Got told off about my fog lights and p plates, got let off with a warning.

Started driving to Palm Beach really pissed off as I was like 1 hour late now, stop at a set of traffic lights and met the two most beautiful blonde females I have ever met. So I headed off to there house for the night with my mate and let my anger cool off :flip2: .

Hope you had good night boys and I hope to be at the next one on time.

What a night it was! I still found it funny how a undercover cop pulled over a innocent white corrola and let 30 v8's roar past. Good to see some old faces and some new, was a top night that went relatively smoothly... And yes i covered the rear like a good sailor whos been at sea too long! :confused:

About the cop issue, i heard that public transport around the northern beaches at late nights is scarcity, and therefore alot of people drink and drive, hence the booze bus! Cant wait for the next one... i think we should start organising already!

Sonny told me to put an extinguisher in the car, so I went one better and put two.
Here's my setup (thanks to the idea from Febs).

Using cable ties, the extinguisher brakets are connected to the wire sub-frame of the rear seat, and the extinguishers just click in

As a rear occupant, your legs naturally extend past them, so you don't even know they are there

I must say we had a very exctiting night esp. when the wagon (sorry i dont know the members name) caught :flame: fire:flame: , seems that i was the only one with an extinguisher, so out it came. Yes you can now call me "Fire Man Sam". You guys need to invest in one.

Mate I think it was a Saturday night & with just one road going up there & back, they probably would have done well for themselves! Sorry guys I bailed at the last minute (Who'd have though a girl would call up and offer me a Bronco's V Knights ticket....weird I know..)

Anyway, in vid 169 (the tunnel one) there are two cars that seem to have a little traction issue :) The first one (it's really hard to tell what model it is, and i'm only partially sure it's black) leaves a nice pair of lines.

I understand if you dont wanna own up to it, but I'm wondering for comparison purposes if that was a boosted car or just a well tuned one. Or do i just not drive mine hard enough haha.

It was a great cruise and a pleasure to be the leader, the money spent on
UHF Radio and scanner was well worth it and I look forward to the next one.
