From the article I have in front of me here are some dates. They are the current NZ Autocar, and in the past they have been spot on.

Commodore Ute October 2007.
VE Wagon (Sports wagon) will follow in March 2008.

id say its a fair way off . . most people seem to be saying 2008. Bit of a shame really
