[QUOTE=lease1;706178]Found this today on carsales.
Yes they have been on carsales for at least this whole week. I doubt there will be much saving. I saw an SV6 demo manual which retails for $39,990 priced at around $45,500 which to me is not a great price as I doubt onroads for this vehicle would be $5K unless it had some extras that were not listed.
I think its a way to get sales up and running

Yikes!! Must have had a heap of extras as on top of the $45,500 there is getting on for nearly another $2,000 in stamp duty etc.
On roads in Vic for a new $40K vehicle would be around $1600 stamp duty, $1500 - $1900 dealer delivery (have seen varying prices quoted on VE) and approx $550 - $600 for plates and rego - nowhere near the $5K plus stamp duty premium they are asking. Possibly has leather plus ...... ???

This is my issue with car dealers. Tey are so quick to advertise thinking we will just jump that if the that car does have extra's then why not say so in the add. I just looked at it and went "yeah right, next":flip2:
Apart from the fact that I had received a quote for a standard SV6 with rear parking sensors and full alloy rims for a few hundred dollars more.

Anyone seen the Omega on carsales for $46,000, it has the 19s and Body kit but other then that I don't see the value.
I think the Standard calais is the go for $45,000 plus onroads.
Carsales and drive have plenty of them for sales.
Berlinas and Calais as well.

It will interesting to see how long before they start the new model. Due to the money sunk into the VE you would think that there will plenty of variations on the VE concept before we seen a totally new commodore from Holden
