scratched windscreen

my windscreen has a scratch matching the radius of the wipers......must have had a chunk of something hard in there once upon a time

is there a way of repairing / polishing out?

I had a 75mm long scratch on my front windscreen from something flung off the road from a car in front, Autoglym Car Glass Polish removed it completely.

My windscreen guy used to say if you can feel it with a fingernail its not worth polishing, you can get a brand new screen fitted in your own driveway for $145.

its true windscreens aren't as expensive as you might think. But before you do, check with your insurance company, most policies will offer one maybe two windscreens per year. most people cant be bothered and just pay for it themselves. but hey, a buck's a buck.
