I am after a full exhaust system including extractors , cats and cat back system for VY Series 1 SS wagon. I think the Maloo cat back system should fit.
It can be series 1 or 2 if complete but would prefer series 1 if you have part of what i need and also i don't have to extend the O2 sensors.

cheers

Why not just contact somewhere like Sureflo Exhausts to supply a full exhaust system? Odds on it will sound 500% better than any stock HSV system as well as freeing up more power.

The system is for a mates dead stock car.
He wants the HSV exhaust because

1) He loves the slight sound improvement it produces over the stock SS system

2) He is on tight budget.

I will contact some shops in Sydney on monday.

Cheers boys

The series 2 headers and cats don't need extension leads when fitting to a series 1, only if fitting to a series 2 car that had the cats up near the manifolds. If you can find series 2 versions, they can produce more power (off the 285 HSV's).

I have these headers and cats on my series 2 Monaro, which is the same as a series 1 VY. Absolutely no problems fitting up. Also remember with VY HSV utes that they had a cat back twin pipe setup on both series 1's and 2's. If you fit that, the right hand rear bumper will need to be modified. Otherwise, you will need to find a VU Maloo cat back system.

Dont want to be the party pooper but dont forget the fuel tank on a ute is in a different spot to where it is on a wagon. The twin outlet Maloo system will probably burn its way throught the fuel tank on a wagon.:bawl:

Oops!

I need to research on the correct HSV exhaust that will fit a wagon.
