Hi all,

I copped a big nail in the rear tyre of my Blade which went flat whilst far from anywhere in the middle of the night. I managed to nurse her to civilisation but obviously the tyre got pretty bloody hot.

Is it a throw away or have tyre repairs come a long way now where they make the tyre as good as new? Also worried about the integrity of the tyre because of the temps it may have reached.

After any suggestions thanks and costs involved.

Cheers,

Alex

I wouldn't mess around with the tyre on a motorcycle, in particular. Same thing happened on my 929 Blade a few years ago and I chucked it away. How long were you riding it with the tyre flat?

It looks like I might bin it in that case. I rode it for quite a while Vulture and she has a nice blue tinge to the tyre now. I am guessing it's stuffed!

Cheers for that fellas!
