just wondering if anybody has put an ls1 into a vn-vr? how hard was the wiring and do the later vt11 and on extractors fit or do you need custom stuff?

Do a search, theres an 18 yo dude on here who has a white VN exec with stocky rims and carby fed LS1. Its THE ultimate sleeper.

theres a guy in sydney who has done it with a vn exec, dont know wether id bother as the engine would be worth more than the car.

Doesnt he have it running on an injections setup now, as the carbo only gave him an extra 10kw at the treads, but it has been done, and by god, if my car wasnt such a limited production, id do it to it now. Go For It!!!

It's a fairly tight fit and some work is involved. VN's used to bend like bananas with 160kw 5.0's. Do you really want to spend all that money putting an LS1 in? The engine alone would be worth more than the car. Even a VR would offer much better suspension geometry.

in my original post i wrote vn-vr. i like them both. i know that they (vn) are a bit loose the vr look better when done properly.

Why not do a warmed up stroker?
A lot easier on the wiring and conversion side.
