I have 50 something posts but now my post count is showing at 0 and I'm getting a message at the top of the forum asking me to create my first post.

Anyone have a clue what's going on? I need some help here!

I believe its posts in the technical section that count towards the figure you are looking at ... not all that waffle in the Tar Pit you go on with :stick: :clown: :wave:

No, I had 50+ posts in sections other than multimedia and tar pit. Now they've disappeared all of a sudden. It's quite strange :\

Why would you have to make all your posts again? ... the actual posts are still there, just not the count.
This is another good example of why we hid post counts in the first place (before the upgrade)... people get obsessed with measuring how big their post count is compared to others. I mean look at Steve (vt2vx)... he walks around with a post a bit bigger than everyone elses, but you don't see him pulling it out and waving it around at every opportunity bragging how big it is :lmao:

I didn't reset it myself, but it doesn't get reset for no reason.

I stopped, but I wasn't advertising, I was inviting members. Also, the DVD is non profit fyi ;)

I figured it wouldn't get reset for no reason so I didn't think I'd make a huge issue out of it, just ask and see whether it was a bug on the forum or not.

Hmmm, after just seeing all the "New Posts" and 9/10's of them having you as a recent responder, it would seem you are either "very" keen or being a post whore. I am thinking it may be the latter, and as such why the reduction.

I'm getting annoyed cause every time i go to post a link or image I can't. That's all. Does it matter how much I post? There are over 50 new threads per day, I comment on things I find interesting, and I have nothing better to do during the day and night.

I'm sorry if anywhere I wasn't posting constructively, but as of yet I have been unaware that I've been breaching any rules or being inappropriate. Yes, I can post links now as long as my post count doesn't get reset for a third time.
