Motor Show 2006

So I was thinking the other day, what will holden do at this years motor show. In recents years they have delivered some awesome concepts, such as FJ, Torana, HRT427, SSX and i'm sure this year they will deliver another outstanding concept. I personally would like to see the Camaro come to our shores. So my question is what do you reckon this years concept will be? I would like to see the TT36 Torana go in to production or what about a AWD 2.8L HFV6 to compete against the likes of the WRX and the EVO's

Who knows, if we are lucky Holden may even bring over the concept CAMARO!

maybe the camaro, but considering the VE has just been released I think they use it to show case the VE more..
I'd be disapointed though if they didnt come up with something..

GTSR 7.0L
Concept VE Monaro
Stripped out track day special VE
Some kind of special tribute to the current Monaro - would need min 427 or TT

Considering how fresh the VE/WM is, I'd say they'll have a 'concept' that is effectively a thinly disguised VE. Bit too soon for anything dramatic like a VE Ute, that would be next year I'd say.
I recall the Coupe concept was shown at Sydney in October 98, just over a year after the VT was released.

The WM Grange should make an appearance, Comaro and Corvette maybe (both have been seen at Holden being tested) and maybe a the 4x4 to compete with the territory

HSV are preparing a "show special" Grange, other than that I don't know whether there will be anything else. Holden and HSV may not want to draw all the attention away from their production models...

Maybe they will bring back the eco commodore they had a few years ago. Hybrid I think developed with the CSIRO.

Wasn't the GTS-R supposed to be previewed ? Or is it too early for that to happen.

I bet they wont have any stunning concept car, why would they take the focus off the VE launch? A bit like why there was no concept car in 2001 when the Monaro was launched.
