Does anyone happen to have contact info on Dwyers Holden used car sales in Wollongong?
The email address I have doesn't seem to be working: holden.used@dwyersmotors.com/au
Also, did the Maloo Ute come in LHD?? I was at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit Michigan (USA) a few weeks back and saw a beautiful purple/blue Maloo in LHD!!! I was there driving an '05 SS Ute in RHD.
Cheers

Hey mate. I've only got an address for their new cars section but im sure you could email them and they'll get you the address.
Email: newcars@dwyerscityholden.com.au
Im not sure if the Maloo was made for LHD export but assuming you've got some cash i guess you could try and buy the LHD interior and other bits from a wrecked GTO and convert yours? Will be very costly though.
Cheers
Brendan.

Sorry, I gotta ask...
Why would someone who lives in Canada want details of a run down car dealer in sleepy old Wollongong?
John,
P.S. BTW - To all the Wollongong guys out there - Dwyers now has a SS (M6), SS-V (A6) and a Clubsport R8 (A6) available for test drive.

I tried google, and no results with a working email address :(.. they all bounce back.
and to top it off, I can't read links on the forum yet cuz I haven't posted 10 times yet!! wha???
I got the car from Dwyers originally, and I'm hoping to bring it back "home" to Australia soon. It's in great shape, I'll post some pics as soon as I can see my own (and other) links!! arghh..

BTW: The link to Dwyers doesn't have any Holden dealership info.
What's the largest Holden dealer's name in Australia? Basically, I'm hoping to find someone to buy back this beautiful 2005 SS Ute ;).. I hate to let it go, but I have to..
I can't sell it in Canada either :(

Look around for a dealership on the holden website, I'm sure you'll find one that's interested.

Turns out Dwyers is no longer selling Holden, no wonder the email address doesn't work anymore!
Thanks 'redoctober, however, not being familiar with Australia and it's ports, it's difficult to investigate where the best city/dealership would be to contact from the many that are listed. Being here in Toronto Canada and trying to solve this during 9-5 EST doesn't help either, considering the time difference.. Oh well.
Thanks to all who responded.. Maybe I'll fly down with the car and try to sell it myself ;)..

Dwyers Holden sold months ago. They relocated today to Fairy Meadow. They are now called Gateway Holden.
I would be suprised that the phones have not been transfered to the new number. But hey, they are selling Holdens, maybe didn't think of that.

Hi all,
I still need some help locating a dealer. I've tried the Holden website, however, the postcode search doesn't work for me... mostly 'cause I don't know your post code system.. Also, doing a city/suburb search doesn't help because I'm not from Australia, being half way on the other side of the world doesn't help!
Stupid question.. where is Sydney? I'm sure there are Holden dealers in Sydney, right?
Does someone not know one name/number/website of a Holden dealer they can help me out with? I tried looking up Gateway Holden and couldn't find it. I did a search and could find Dwyers, but obviously the Holden website is out of date..
Thanks in advance... Unless someone here wants my SS Ute ;)..

SYDNEY is the largest city in Australia. Wollongong is a country town in comparison. Wollongong is 90 minutes south of Sydney.
Sydney has the airport and shipping port where you will land and where your car will be arrive at...
One of the biggest dealers is Suttons. See the phone numbers below for their yards in Sydney.
One word of advice - DO NOT bring the car back to Australia, after you pay for the shipping, duties, fees and associated costs then see how little you can get for that car here - you will be practically throwing it away.
Sell it there for as much as you can get - you will be MUCH better off...

I'm guessing that under what ever scheme he imported the car to Canada, he can't sell/dispose of it and in fact he has to prove that it left the country.

Fair enough, everything about the thread seems strange...
