Hi,
Sorry if this is not within the Forum guidelines, mods please remove if inappropriate.
I am looking for a GOOD mobile tinter in Sydney, using GOOD quality tint to do 3 cars, in 3-5 weeks time.

It would be at my workplace, in a secure car park and would have access to power and water.

Two cars are requiring darker than legal tint, and we understand that a receipt cannot be issued but I do require Warranty on the job (incase there is bubbles etc)

The tints required, and for what cars are:

Mazda MPS - 20% Tint - Requires existing tint to be removed

Holden Calais - 20% Tint - Requires existing tint to be removed

Holden Barina - 35% Tint

Can anyone recommend a mobile tinter in Sydney who does a really good job and meets my requirements?

Also, if there is any mobile tinters here, please send me a quote on how much to do all 3 on a day (if possible)?

Location will be in Summer Hill.

Now just a question for everyone out there. Is just going pure dark good enough ? Or should I go for one of those silvery metallic style tints ?
My car is this colour, and am thinking that maybe Silvery metallic style would compliment the existing chrome highlights.
Any thoughts ?

My opinion is get the really dark illegal tint seedy, especially if you are going to be parking outside HOOTERS doing inappropriate things in the car at night !!!! :lmao: :yup:

i would go for the dark i think it would look more classy than the metallic one.

Looks like black it is.

So, just reviving an old thread ... are there ANY mobile tinters that are recommended in Sydney ?

Doesn't appear to be . Maybe there's a new career path for me.

Just a follow up to this thread.

The chariot is now tinted. (Excuse the dirty condition, parked it under a pollen dropping tree)

I ended up getting the old tint removed, and new 20% tint applied for a grand total of $200 (wasn't a cash-only deal either).

Whilst I always agree that you get what you pay for, for that price I thought I couldn't go wrong. It may (read: probably) will need re-doing, but I had an opportunity presented to me that I had to jump on.

My Wife said to me yesterday morning when I told her it was getting done "it better not be too dark"
Well here's a photo I took with the flash on.

and here's a shot in full sunlight

So is it too dark ?
well in full light, you "can" see through

and what is it like from inside ?
Well ... its not that dark from inside ... but the glare reduction is amazing.

So I'm pretty pleased with the results (especially considering old stuff was removed in that price).

Cheers,
Seedy
