I am trying to fit a set of reverse senors to my VE. In my previous Commod's i could just wire them up to the reverse lights. If I do this now, when I hit the remote to unlock the car (and the reserse lights turn on) it activates my sensors. I can see in the rear qtr panel the is a 4 pin plug where I can plug-in Hold Gen part bit they are expensive. Is anyone able to tell me what power is coming down the 4pin plug or what each of the pins do...or better still a copy of the wiring diag for the reverse senor plug.

So you bought a NEW VE and you are trying to install the parking sensors?

Why didn't you just get them fitted

Maybe they are expensive because they actually work  It's a brand new car, why screw it up to save a few bucks :weirdo:

Agree for a few hundred or so bucks i wouldn't even contemplate touching a brand new car by trying to install something myslef.

Why screw with a new car, getting them installed by the dealer
