Have done a search and found a few people have had a problem with this.

The drivers door on the Ute wouldn't open today when I was IN the car, no matter what I tried!

Now I am the biggest NASCAR fan around, but even I felt a bit stupid doing my Dale Earnhardt impersonations in the rain!

My question is: has anyone got a quick-fix for this one? One of the other posts somewhere had someone spraying WD down the lock button, but its not the sort of thing I would like to do.

BTW I finally got the damn thing to open by using multiple hits on the outdoor key, Oh and it was the deadlock that had stuck as I couldn't pull the bloody button up inside.

cheers,

Why not? If you want a "Quick Fix" that is your best option... The only other option is to get the actuators replaced.

Had the same problem many years ago with a VN Calais. WD worked a treat and never had the problem re-occurr. No side effects either.

Ok tried it out today, WD down the door lock is not real good, it doesnt go to the internals of the actuators. Does make a nice mess inside the door trim though.
Found out a better way was to remove the door trim slip the liner and get to it through the door.
WD made it work a lot better.

So for what its worth, remove door trim (easy) and get in to where the problem actually is!
Cheers,
