Thing is, if stuffed up two outta the 4 ive had, and both have been on the left hand side, is this normal or could there be something causing this??
what wreckers did u get em off??
i was told to look for a pair off a 6.0ltr, cause they might be a bit more stronger than the 5.7

6.0LTR one are the same as the 5.7 as ive broken 2 shafts already on my LS2. I bought some from Diff Technics in Sydney rated for 800hp and around $1700 a pair. Here is a pic of mine against a stocker. So far have handled 8 runs at the strip for 11.5 @ around 126mph. So far so good on them.

We have been looking at the "BMR" C.V Shafts & axles for a while now and finally imported a set for testing, the testing will be done on one of ur gen t car that keeps breaking shafts & c.v's,we will keep info coming on the progress of these shafts and axles,if it proves to be good,we will be stocking these shafts and axles.

Every time i have seen a brocken shaft it has been the left hand side, not sure the reason why that side is prone to smash shafts, yes you can only buy the shafts on their own if you wish.

and i want something stronger, i dont break the shaft but the bearing end up with heaps of slack like a backlash.

 Me too...right hand shaft replaced only this morning.....not broken..but full 90deg twist.....I'll see if I can't pull up a decent pic of it..but has survied 800 odd hard passes..although I think the high stall takes the majority of punishment away from the cars rear end

I havent driven my car much since i installed the shafts and axles, though i have customer who has been running round with the bmrs on his turbo ls1,he has raced it and give it some abuse,so far so good :)
