How many Maloos?

Hi all,

A friend of mine just picked up a 2001 Maloo R8, with just 33K on the clock. Totally stunning, not even a tiny paint chip on the front of the car.

Just curious - on average, how many Maloos are built in each model?

VP Maloo Release date March 1992 - 49 Built
VR Maloo Release date August 1993 - 156 Built
VSI & II Maloo Release date April 1995 - 173 Built
VSIII Maloo Release date March 1990 - 30 Built
VU Maloo/R8 Release date September 2000 - 162 Manual/139 Auto (Not a separate model like the sedan)

Hey no probs. No 2 is cool. What did he pay for it, if you don't mind me asking. Seems like there is a lot of you WA boys with VX/VU HSV's going around. And the release date for VSIII should be 1998.

He got it for $34K.... threw me the keys today and asked for my opinion, hehe. It's incredible, drives just like a new car. I thought my Munro had grunt, but this thing was awesome :yup: ...never drove a HSV before.

oh i went on tues to go see that maloo and i told the guy that i would buy it the next day and he said yeah ok. but then i rang and he sold it on me, so it was you who bought my car thanks buddy,
