hey guys one quick question can a hsv short shifter off a VU fit onto a VY S2 SS?

It will bolt up, but it will point off to one side.

it should fit, i think the bracket inside only changed from vt1-vt2 and onwards

what exactly does that mean?

It will not face 12 o'clock.

I think it will face either 11 or 1

Holden did rotate the shifter mounting @ VY
