Hi guys,
Having heard all the nghtmare dealership servicing stories on this forum, and having experienced some nightmarish scenarios myself (dints in the front quarter panel, scratched doors, scratched leather steering wheel), I was wondering if any dealership is confident enough in its mechanics to offer a customer satisfaction survey after each service.
If there is any, I would probably prefer to use them as it shows some regard to owner concerns.
Anyone know?

Not any use to you in Melbourne but for the Brisbane members I have in the past received follow up phone calls from Ross Llewellyn motors and a written, in the mail survey from Zupps Browns Plains

Zupps do it all the time. Last time i had the car there, they walked me around the car, showed me what was done and pointed out a couple of things to be aware of for next service and also fixed the clip on the cup holder (free). While they havent always been 100% perfect they never tried to get out of any warrenty issues. Sometimes they werent done at one service but were always resolved in the next one. Communication has always been good and no complaints here.

In Sydney, Suttons and Muirs do it. Even for the smallest thing like getting a spare key programmed they send you out a survey of the experince

Yep, Suttons City Service does it over the phone.

I reckon that since everyone has service complaints then there is some comfort in knowing that some dealerships care enough to send out a survey.
Its no guarantee but its better than nothing and it makes the mechanics realise that rubbing their fat ass along a door full of road grime is not going to go unnoticed.

Best bet is to have the car clean before you go in, that way you ensure any marks, dirt are theirs not pre-existing.

Some do a survey, some do a phone call, some send a letter. All variations of the theme. After the first year is up, all customers receive a SSS survey that goes back to Holden, not the dealer.

I've had work done on my VS at Ferntree Gully Holden, never had a problem there. I recently had the crank angle sensor replaced, and a few days later I was sent a survey in the mail to fill in, asking if I was satisfied, any improvements etc, which was to be sent back to the dealership.
